UI/UX Designer

Job Description

The ideal candidate is passionate about creating intuitive and visually stunning user interfaces while also understanding the importance of user experience in driving engagement and satisfaction. As a UI/UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications. Your primary focus will be on crafting seamless user experiences that align with the brand and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand user requirements, business goals, and project objectives
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gather feedback and insights for iterative design improvements
• Create user personas, user flows, and journey maps to visualize user interactions and identify pain points and opportunities for enhancement
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across products and platforms
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design and user research
• Collaborate with developers to ensure successful implementation of designs and provide support during the development process
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the organization and foster a culture of design excellence
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage design projects and deliverables according to timelines and milestones

Core Competencies

• Any degree with strong interest in creating designs
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or Canva
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability principles, and design thinking methodologies
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to inform design decisions
• Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, color theory, and composition
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse audiences
• Ability to design for various devices and screen sizes to provide a consistent user experience

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with front-end development technologies and frameworks (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React.js) is a plus
• Any relevant certifications from recognized institutions to validate skills and knowledge
• Basic knowledge of platforms like WordPress or Drupal for designing and implementing user interfaces
• Experience in creating user journey maps and personas to enhance user-centered design
• Critical Thinking, the ability to evaluate complex problems and look for different ways to solve them

Duration

We are providing paid internship for 1 month, 3 months and 6 months which can be converted to full-time offer based on the performance in the internship.
